Singular or Plural

Step 1:  Listen carefully as your teacher reads the following sentences.  Your speech/language therapist will read each sentence twice.  Try to repeat the sentence that sounds correct to you.  Remember, when there is more than one person or thing we need to add the /s/, /z/, or /ez/ sound.  You may follow along on the computer screen.
Step 2:   Print the worksheet and then underline or circle the correct answer. 

Step 3:  Students should log their scores on the Excel graph provided on the table of contents page.

1.  The (horse / horses) runs.

2.  The (cat / cats) plays with the yarn.

3.  A ( boy / boys)  jumps on the trampoline.

4.  My (wagon / wagons) is in the yard.

5.  Sara's (dog / dogs) plays fetch.

6.  Tom's (finger / fingers) hurts because he cut it on the fence.

7.  Wyman digs in the garden for a (worm / worms).

8.  Suzy saw one (bird / birds) sitting in a tree.

9.  Kate's (brother / brothers) likes to play baseball.

10.  Her (ball / balls) rolls into the backyard.

11.  One (chair / chairs) is in the kitchen.                        

12.  His (book / books) is about a wild pony.

13.  Dan's (thumb / thumbs) is broken.
